About

This site was set up to prepare for the upcoming session "Who's Afraid of Blogs, Wikis, Podcasts, and the Big Bad CMS? A Digi-Drama About Fear 2.0" at the January 2008 annual meeting of the EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative.

We want to hear from you about your fears (and the fears you're observing at your institutions) about the role of Web 2.0 tools and technologies in higher education.

To participate, please tag items of interest in del.icio.us with the tag "eli08fear." We encourage you to tag articles, blog posts (yours or others), Web sites, images, videos, or any other Web-based content that captures impressions of these fears.

For the really creative, we encourage you to create your own "Fear Stories" using tools like VoiceThread, YouTube, or Flickr and then tag those items in del.icio.us.

As items get tagged, they will appear here as posts, and we then encourage you to comment upon or discuss what others have shared.
